Hi, We are Farmer’s Helper

          The father daughter duo, in Harrisburg, welcomes another family member to the business. Colt Ross, son of owner Allen Ross, is joining his father on the mobile slaughtering unit. Colt possesses exceptional customer service skills and a solid work ethic, gained from his 14 years of experience with Les Schwab in Junction City.

Colt plans on spending the next several months learning the ins and outs of the mobile unit and the methods Allen has used in his many years of ownership. Everyone at Farmers Helper is very excited about Colt joining the crew. Allen is looking forward to spending more time enjoying his hobbies like fishing and spending time outdoors with his wife, Karen.

You can find Farmers Helper on LaSalle St. in Harrisburg. There you’ll find a meat market open to the public and the mobile slaughtering unit for processing animals raised at home, as well as experienced crew specializing in custom cutting and wrapping. Along with smoked sausages and specialty cured meat prepared right on sight.
