Northwest Meat Processors Association, puts on a convention every year, what a fun and great experience!
This year the convention was located in Moscow, Idaho. There we spent a couple days involved in a jerky and bacon work shop. This is where our Jalapeno Bacon was born!
It starts with the best pork bellies, we brine and tumble them with our delicious bacon recipe. Once they’re tumbled to perfection we rub ground Jalapeno all over, covering every inch. Let them rest, and load ’em into the smoke house!
This bacon is YUMMY!! and let me tell you it makes the tastiest BLT ever!
We permanently have Jalapeno Bacon in our meat case! We also plan on playing with and creating other perfect flavored bacon combinations!! So check in with us regularly, you never know what we’ll whip up!!
